The first humans who decided, consciously or not, what kind of animal you would become.
The system runs during a critical window when neuroplasticity is at its highest and critical thinking is functionally offline. Input is accepted without validation. There is no sandbox environment. Whatever is loaded gets executed directly into the formation layer and sits there, flagged as foundational, for the rest of the runtime.
Teachers do not need credentials to operate at this level. Most don't know they're running.
This is the main event.
| Bug | Severity | Reproducible |
|---|---|---|
| Teacher's unresolved material installs silently as user's own beliefs | Critical | Yes, universally |
| Praise given conditionally trains compliance instead of confidence | High | Yes |
| Punishment delivered inconsistently trains hypervigilance instead of correction | Critical | Yes |
| Favourite students receive a distorted map of how love is distributed in the world | High | Yes |
| Non-favourite students receive the same distorted map, different coordinates | High | Yes |
| Teacher's fear of a student's potential causes active throttling of output | Critical | Underreported |
| Single careless remark achieves longer retention than years of neutral instruction | High | Horrifyingly yes |
| The teacher who genuinely helped often never finds out | Low | Yes |
"She told me I was too sensitive. I spent fifteen years trying to prove her right." — User report, unverified, extremely common
Note: Bugs are not always malicious. Many are the faithful transmission of bugs the teacher also received. The chain is long. The chain is well-documented nowhere.
ERR_MIRROR_DISTORTED Teacher sees self in student. Grades accordingly.
ERR_BANDWIDTH_EXCEEDED Too many students. Triage occurs. You may have been triaged.
ERR_DEPRECATED_VALUES Curriculum reflects society 30 years prior.
ERR_SILENT_INSTALL You now believe something you never agreed to believe.
ERR_SOURCE_CORRUPTED The teacher was also once a student. See: recursion.
Some early teachers are extraordinary. They notice the specific shape of a specific child and adjust accordingly. They absorb the loneliness of the job without redirecting it at the room. They stay. These cases are real and should be documented separately because they demonstrate that the system, under ideal conditions, can run without causing harm.
This is considered exceptional behavior rather than default.
