An early teacher receives a room of small, chaotic processes. Each one has different inputs, different error rates, different home environments running in the background. The teacher's job is to find the shared instruction set and run it anyway, knowing most of the output won't be observable for decades.

The mechanism looks simple from the outside: repetition, encouragement, small corrections, the occasional stern voice deployed with surgical precision. Internally it is nothing like simple. It is pattern recognition, emotional regulation, and improvisation running in parallel, six hours a day, with thirty tabs open.
