Product Overview

Failure is a cloud-native, always-on experiential platform purpose-built to close the gap between expectation and reality. Since its initial release, Failure has maintained 99.9997% uptime across all regions, all demographics, and all historical periods. We are proud of this number. We did not intend for it to be this high.

Failure integrates seamlessly with your existing ambition stack and requires no onboarding. Deployment is automatic. You will not receive a confirmation email.

SLA

Failure guarantees delivery within one (1) emotionally significant moment of any high-stakes attempt. Response time SLAs are as follows:

P0 (Critical): Delivered during the attempt itself. No notice.
P1 (High): Delivered within 24 hours of false confidence.
P2 (Medium): Delivered retroactively, often years later, while you are in the shower.
P3 (Low): Delivered as a vague feeling that something, somewhere, went wrong.

Failure does not offer refunds. Failure does not offer credits. Failure's legal team has reviewed this section.

Known Bugs

Users frequently miscategorize Failure as a permanent state rather than a discrete event. This is a UX issue we have deprioritized.
shame occasionally bundles with Failure without user consent. We are aware. This is being tracked in the backlog under "by design."
Some users report Failure arriving before the attempt concludes. Engineering notes this is a feature of the anticipatory subsystem.
Repeated exposure sometimes triggers resilience, an undocumented side effect we did not ship intentionally.

Deprecation Notice

We have attempted to deprecate Failure on seventeen (17) separate occasions. These attempts failed. We find this appropriate and have stopped trying. Failure is considered a core dependency of the human runtime and will not be sunset while consciousness remains in production.

Any competitor product claiming to eliminate Failure entirely is in violation of thermodynamic law and should be reported to your legal team.

v4.1.9 Improved latency on public failures. Added LinkedIn integration (not our idea).

v4.0.0 Major architectural overhaul following the 2008 incident. We apologize. Many of you were affected. Our communications at the time were inadequate. We have updated our status page.
