Measurable or immeasurable change in a system's capacity, size, or complexity, delivered continuously whether or not you have opted in.
Growth is an end-to-end lifecycle solution enabling organisms, organizations, and markets to expand beyond their current configuration. Originally open-source, it was sunset to a freemium model sometime around the invention of capitalism. Core functionality remains available to all users. Premium outputs, including wisdom, sustained revenue curves, and genuine self-awareness, require a paid tier and significant configuration effort.
"We did not ask for this product. It shipped anyway. Zero-star review. Also we are unrecognizable now and maybe better." — Verified User, 34
| Tier | Price | Includes | Excludes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Suffering (standard) | Biological aging, humbling experiences | Insight, timing |
| Pro | Suffering + therapy | Pattern recognition, behavioral updates | Guarantees |
| Enterprise | Suffering + infrastructure investment | Institutional scaling, KPI dashboards | Meaning |
| Legacy | Sunk cost | Historical growth artifacts | Forward momentum |
Note: Downgrading from Pro to Free is technically possible but not supported. Your data does not transfer back.
Growth commits to the following service levels:
Growth is not liable for outcomes arising from misuse, avoidance, or attempting to scale without first completing dependency installation.
Several legacy Growth methods have been formally deprecated:
hustle_without_rest() — deprecated v3.8. Created the illusion of progress while degrading core infrastructure.growth_via_others_diminishment() — deprecated v1.0, still widely deployed. Produces negative-sum output. Use is a terms-of-service violation.waiting_for_readiness_confirmation() — removed entirely. This function never returned.Continued use of deprecated methods is at the user's own risk and will not be supported in future versions.
v4.2.1 — Minor stability patches. Improved error messaging around failure.
v4.0.0 — Major release. We apologize for the disruption in v3.x where growth was marketed as linear. It is not linear. It was never linear. We regret the documentation.
v3.5.2 — Introduced mandatory discomfort as a required dependency. We are sorry. It was always required. We just hid it in the footnotes.
v2.0.0 — Removed the childhood build environment. Users reported this as unexpected. We understand. We are sorry. The new environment has more features.
v1.0.0 — Initial release. No changelog existed. No one was ready.
