The capacity to make good decisions using knowledge you paid for with bad ones.
Wisdom does not arrive by download. It accumulates through a slow sedimentary process: experience applies pressure to memory, regret acts as heat, and over sufficient time the result is something denser and more useful than either raw intelligence or raw information.

Can wisdom be learned from books? Partially. Books compress the experience of others. This is useful the way a map is useful. The map is not the territory.
Is wisdom the same as intelligence? No. Orthogonal axes. High intelligence with low wisdom produces very fast, very confident wrong answers.
Is it possible to be wise at 22? In narrow domains with sufficient stakes and feedback loops, yes. As a general operating system, the install is still running.
Why do wise people often say very little? The output queue is filtered by a strong prior: most statements don't need to exist. This is a feature, not a fault.
