Who They Want To Be (WTWB) is an enterprise-grade identity projection layer, designed to bridge the gap between current-state user configuration and desired-state personal branding. WTWB sits on top of the self as a managed abstraction, providing a consistent interface to present to the external environment regardless of underlying system health.
WTWB is not affiliated with Who They Actually Are. Any resemblance to that product is coincidental and, in many deployments, actively suppressed.
| Tier | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Latent Self | Basic projection. Mostly vibes. No SLA. |
| Standard | The Narrative | Coherent persona with occasional inconsistencies. Includes one (1) reinvention per decade. |
| Professional | Curated Presence | Full audience segmentation, LinkedIn-optimized self-concept, scheduled vulnerability disclosures. |
| Enterprise | The Legacy | Institutional myth-making. Requires minimum one biographer or one estranged family member. |
WTWB guarantees uptime of projected identity during the following conditions: job interviews, first dates, and therapy intake sessions. During periods of exhaustion, intoxication, or prolonged intimacy, SLA is suspended. Incidents during SLA suspension will be logged but not addressed. All SLA credits are issued in the form of affirmations with no cash value.
NOTICE (v2.x and below): Several identity configurations shipped between ages 14 and 26 are now formally deprecated. These include: The Cynic Who Secretly Cares, The One Who Has It Together, and The Person Who Does Not Need Anyone. Migration paths exist but require manual effort and are not covered under standard support.
Legacy configurations may continue running in production. We cannot stop you.

Q: Is this product finished? A: No. This is by design. A finished WTWB would require the user to stop moving the target. No user has consented to this.
Q: Can two users share a WTWB instance? A: This is called a relationship and introduces significant merge conflicts.
Q: What happens at end of life? A: The gap between this product and Who They Actually Are either closes, or it doesn't. Both outcomes have been observed. Only one ships with peace of mind.
